BBB Pulp Pick - Emerson 21" TV

Back in 1953, Emerson made a pretty spiffy 21" TV. As the Ad says, "so clear, so sharp, you'll think you're at the movies!" Well, HDTV it wasn't but in case you're thinking HDTVs seem awfully expensive, adjusting for intervening inflation, if this beauty were for sale today, it would run you about $1,170 - and that's not even one that comes in it's own wooden box (gotta love an ad where the box is featured rather than the TV).
